Hi! I’m Kelsey and this is my blog. I review books, movies, music, and tv shows using a 5-point rating system (1-worst, 5-best), although to be honest I only blog about things I really like so you’ll probably never see a rating below 3. My tastes are fairly eclectic/nerdy; I love science fiction, action movies, indie/alternative pop and lots of other random things. You’ll probably get a better idea of what I’m about by glancing at the tags or just snooping around a little.
Everything I post is only my own opinion, so try not to get too worked up if I say something you don’t like. Definitely feel free to comment if you feel so moved; I like to think I’m a pretty rational person who’s open to multiple viewpoints and willing to engage in thoughtful discussion. I moderate commenting but basically everything gets through, as long as it seems like it was written by a person (or a self-aware robotic life form).
I try to be diligent about image credit; sources for the pictures I use are typically linked at the end of each post. All of the non-credited header images are from a stock photo website called stock.xchng, and I created the main header myself using GIMP, the soon-to-be defunct Picnik, and my very beginner-level gif-making skills. Sorry if it’s hideous but the visual arts are not my strength at all.
